Four aspiring students aged 14 and 15 have created a generator which converts urine into hydrogen. Dura-Aina Adebola, Akidele Abiola, Faleke Oluwatoyim and Bello Eniola submitted their invention to Make Fair Africa an organization that holds annual conference for inventors and thinkers.
The kids join the rest of the world to showcase not what they learn in class but their innovation talent.
For the generator they invented, the exhaust gas is the water vapour. It does not emit carbon monoxide like the normal fuel-based generator hence they have managed to ensure clean environment.
The students are currently working on other projects like bomb detecting radar, motorbike safety device and also paper from maize straw (agricultural waste.)
